These ‘Inspired-by-Nature’ kits have been carefully curated to include resources to complement children’s schemas. A schema is a repeated action which is how a child learns during play.  Helping to strengthen your child’s fine motor skills- Playberry’s Sensory Dough Kits encourage building; rolling; manipulating; flattening; squeezing; imprinting and cutting as well as using all the senses to play your own way!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT PLAYBERRY
Playberry ‘Inspired-by-Nature’ kits kits are especially designed for parents who want to encourage their child‘s learning using a nature-inspired approach.

Built with children’s play patterns, or schemas, in mind, these Nature-inspired Sensory Play Dough kits use only natural and ‘real’ resources that focus on encouraging problem- solving as well as providing an opportunity for creative and imaginative play.

Influenced by play philosophies such as Montessori, Reggio Emillia and the Forest School approach; I have developed Playberry to help those curious little learners nurture a love of nature and to help eco- friendly households achieve a plastic-free home!

This kit contains:

1 x SWEET NECTAR– naturally dyed with turmeric & beetroot and fragranced with a sweet Citrus essential oil blend.

1 x TROPICAL BERRY– naturally dyed using beetroot and fragranced with a zest of Lime essential oil.

The following are included that can be used to enclose, connect, disconnect, rotate, move to & fro, and hide-(or cover).

  • 1 x Bee Cookie Cutter
  • 3 x Glass Pebbles
  • 1 x Vine Ball
  • 1 x Wooden Honey Dipper
  • 1 x Wooden Roller
  • 1 x Hexagon Hive Shape
  • 2 x Bamboo Sticks
  • 1 x Helichrysum Dried Flower

All supplied in a handy cotton- muslin bag with decorative contents wrapper- perfect to keep all your dough treasures safe!

Safety

This kit contains flour and small parts.

Playberry’s Natural Sensory Dough is made with flour, salt, cream of tartar, oil, water, natural plant based dyes, natural flavourings and essential oils.

Playberry uses plants as natural dyes so there may be slight colour variation between batches and colours may vary slightly from the images.

Our doughs are independently UKCA/CE tested and marked

Not suitable for children under 36 months. Adult supervision is recommended. Choking hazard.

This product is designed to be played with, not eaten due to high salt content.

We cannot guarantee that there are not any traces of nuts, or other allergens in our products.

Keep away from animals.

 

Good to Know

Playberry is 100% Natural Handmade Product so it does need a little looking after to prolong its shelf life. Best stored in the airtight tin provided and kept in a cool place between use.

If kept in the fridge in between use then it can last up to 6 months. Outside the fridge (depending on how hot it is) 1-3 months.
