How to make your dough

Empty one of the flour satchet dry mix into the saucepan and stir well. Dont worry if it looks sticky – just keep stirring until it binds together!

It may take some time to get passed the sticky goo stage so don’t panic- keep stirring over the hob and I promise it will mould into a perfect dough ball. Ta dah! You are now ready to squish, poke, roll and cut it!

Playberry DIY Dough is made from Flour, Cornflour, Water, Salt, Coconut Oil, Cream of Tartar,  and Natural Plant Dyes from spices, vegetables, flowers and plants.

Gluten: Our dough does contain flour.
Nuts, Dairy, Eggs, Soy: Our dough does NOT contain any of these however it is handmade in a facility that handles these items. Whilst the upmost care is taken to prepare our sensory dough in a clean allergy-free environment, cross-contamination could occur.

This dough is not intended to be eaten as it contains high salt content and is not suitable for digestion.  However, all our ingredients are food grade so if someone has a lick or a nibble, don’t worry!

Playberry DIY dough can last 3mths+ if kept in airtight container and can last much longer if kept in the fridge between use and by being played with regularly. Colour and scent may fade after time.

If dryness occurs the dough can be revived by a splash of oil or water and re-kneading. If it becomes too wet – just add a dash of flour!

If you find your dough gets salt crystals this is totally normal. Simply play with the dough and they will disappear.
